What is the actual role?

Make sure to really check out the job title and description to see if they match up with what you'll actually be doing. Knowing this will help you set the right expectations and avoid any mix-ups down the line.

Is there a trial?

You need to agree to a 90 day trial before you start. If there's a probation period, you may like to clarify the terms to understand how you'll be evaluated during this time.

Are the terms what you had discussed?

Take a good look at the salary and benefits part to make sure everything, like bonuses and perks, is clear. Don't forget to understand the work schedule, including any overtime expectations, so you're clear on your availability and commitments.

And if the employment ends?

Make sure you understand the termination terms, so you know what your notice period is and what could lead to the end of your employment.

What other clauses are in there?

Keep an eye out for any other things that you may not have expected or understand, including any non-compete, non-solicitation or restraint of trade clauses. These may stop you from working for a competitor or in the same field in the same area for a period of time if you leave this employment.
